Chris Brown and Ex-Girlfriend Ammika Harris Expecting a Son: Report

Chris Brown and his ex-girlfriend Ammika Harris are expecting a son together sometime in the fall, according to new reports.

Talks about the singer/songwriter becoming a father again started making the rounds in May. Brown is yet to address the topic, but TMZ is now reporting that the unborn child is a boy.

Sources close to the situation told the outlet that Brown, 30, and Harris, 26, will be the proud parents of a baby boy later this year.

The insiders added that even though the singer and model are no longer together, they are getting along well. Harris is also said to be happy with the way Brown treats her – financially, emotionally, and medically.

Back in May, Brown first raised eyebrows after dropping a cryptic comment on his ex-girlfriend’s Instagram post.

“BM Bad,” he wrote in response to a photo of Harris posing with a ball.

The consensus among fans at the time was that “BM” is short for “Baby Mama.” Later that same month, Brown and Harris fueled the rumors some more on her birthday post.

In a message marking her big day, the model revealed: “I’m so blessed with the most beautiful gift I could ever asked for.” Brown’s Instagram post celebrating Harris’ birthday was another pointer as he penned: “Big big big happy bday to this lovely woman! @ammikaaa have fun momma.”

Neither the “Indigo” singer nor Harris addressed the speculations at the time, but in June, a source confirmed to Page Six that they were indeed going to be co-parents.

The unborn son will join Brown’s five-year-old daughter, Royalty, who he shares with Nia Guzman. The baby will, however, be a first for Harris who was first linked to the Grammy winner in 2015.

Brown and Harris reportedly broke up earlier this year, but three months ago, the "Beautiful People" singer shared a sultry pic of the model and referred to her as "my BOO." The pair was also together in January when Brown was accused of sexually abusing a woman during a Paris trip.

Before then, Brown pleaded guilty to the felony assault of his then-girlfriend, singer Rihanna, in 2009. Tran’s restraining order came only two years after the singer completed probation for that assault.

Brown has had his fair share of legal and relationship woes, so news of a baby on the way with Harris should be a welcome development.
